By accessing or using the Platform, enrolling in courses, or making a purchase you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: name, email address, profile details when you register.
- Payment & Transaction Data: payment method (e.g. UPI/Netbanking/credit card token), billing details and transaction metadata. Note: full card or UPI credentials are not stored on our servers — payments are processed by third-party gateways.
- Usage Data: course progress, activity logs, IP address, device and browser information, and interaction metrics.
- Support Data: messages you send to support, including attachments.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use data to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Platform and course access.
- Process payments, billing and refunds.
- Send transactional emails (order receipts, course enrolment, updates).
- Improve course content and personalize recommendations.
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms.
4. Payments & Payment Failures
Payments on CIE are processed through trusted third-party payment gateways and payment service providers. CIE does not directly process or store full payment card data. Our payment partners follow secure industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS) for handling card and UPI payments.
About declined or failed transactions: A payment may be declined due to card/UPI limits, bank authorization rules, incorrect payment details, insufficient funds, or the payment provider's own risk checks. While CIE cannot force a payment gateway to accept a transaction, we will always assist students in resolving issues.
If your payment is declined, please:
- Check your bank/U PI/payment method details and try again.
- Contact support at support@cie.chaitanyaserver.com — include the transaction ID, timestamp and any error message. We will liaise with the payment gateway and help investigate.
We do not withhold refunds or block legitimate transactions without due cause. Any suspected fraudulent activity will be handled per our Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to provide essential site functionality, remember preferences, analyze site performance and provide personalized content. You can manage cookies through your browser, but disabling certain cookies may affect the Platform's functionality.
6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for payments, analytics, hosting and email. These providers may collect information sent to them to perform services for CIE. Examples include payment gateways, email delivery services and analytics platforms. Please review their respective privacy policies for details.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, regular security reviews, and encrypted backups. Although we strive to protect your data, no system is 100% secure — in the unlikely event of a data incident we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.
8. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your personal data by contacting support@cie.chaitanyaserver.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
9. Children
Our Platform is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located in India and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Platform you consent to such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified by email or posted on the site with an updated effective date. The current effective date is shown below.
